Triston spent five years as a wildland firefighter in the western United States. During this time, he would often spend weeks at a time living in the wilderness and working. He is skilled in technical rope rescue, wilderness emergency medicine, and whitewater/wilderness navigation. He is an avid outdoorsman and spends a significant portion of his time camping, hiking, backpacking, hunting, fishing, climbing, practicing wilderness medicine, and more!
